Wildfires Ravage Southern California
San Diego, CA - Hundreds of homes and businesses were destroyed and at least 4 lives were lost as a series of wildfires, some of which were deliberately set, swept through Southern California in October of 2007 in what was described by officials as a "perfect fire storm."

Philly Snorkel 28 Fire Philadelphia, PA. This is an example of "What Not To Do." Notice the power lines. The knuckle of the waterway made several contacts with the high voltage lines and then got stuck to them. Remember to check for overhead obstructions. No injuries were reported. August 2008 |
