Tip a Firefighter Night & Car Show 99 Restaurant Stratford, CT 4:00 pm-8:00 pm Come and enjoy a meal at "99" Restaurant and meet the Firefighters of Stratford as they work alongside the "99" staff. While your waiting to be seated or after your meal view the classic cars out in the parking area! Proceeds will benefit the Stratford Professional Firefighters Burn Foundation's areas of interest.

The East Haven Firefighters Local 1205 will be hosting their 4th annual Motorcycle Poker Run for Muscular Dystrophy on June 8, 2008 at Smitty’s Eastside Café next door to East Haven Fire HQ Registration is from 8:30 to 10:30.

• $25 per person
• Breakfast during registration and lunch afterward.
• Trophy and cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and last place.
• Also a 50/50 raffle

Scenic route thru the shoreline with stops at Dairy Queen in Madison , Gillette’s Castle in East Haddam and the Stoner’s Club in Foxon.

• All hands must be played by 3:00 pm
• Rain or shine

Sunday 6/22/08

The Essex Volunteer Fire Department will be holding their 175th Anniversaryn parade in Essex CT on June 22nd at 12 noon. A parade featuring over 60 fire companies along with many bands and drum corps will punctuate the day. The parade route will be from Ivoryton Center to the Essex Firehouse.
